We connect Africans — especially women, with opportunities that unlock dignity and economic empowerment
Why NUABA
Across Sub-Saharan Africa millions lack the tools and connections needed to turn skill into income. Women are disproportionately affected. NUABA exists to restore agency, giving people the power, skills and networks to build resilient livelihoods and lead their communities.
- We design programs with community partners to ensure relevance and longevity.
- We prioritize women-led and youth-facing interventions.
- We measure what matters: dignity, sustained income and community agency.
The scale of the challenge
Over 460 million people in Sub-Saharan Africa live in extreme poverty. Women and young people bear the brunt of this crisis. Closing this gap requires approaches that combine market access, skills and social support — not short-term aid alone.
